Bailey Beth's 2nd Birthday Party

We had a family party for Bailey Beth at our church and she had a great time playing with her cousins!  The party was cupcake themed since "Cupcake" is one of the nicknames that Tyler gave to her.  We used cupcake decorations and party supplies and had a cupcake bar instead of a traditional birthday cake. 

I made 4 flavors of cake - funfetti, orange, chocolate, and red velvet.  We had 7 frosting flavors - vanilla, chocolate, cream cheese, orange creme, cotton candy, mint chocolate, and white chocolate raspberry.  For decorating and added flavor combos we had lots of different toppings.  All the kids (and adults) seemed to have fun choosing their cake and frosting flavors and then decorating their cupcakes however they wanted. 

Of course, our kids had the most fun running around and playing in the gym.  It was fun to watch all the kids from both sides of our families play together.  Bailey Beth was happy and had a fun time - success!

Awana Commander

Ben recently became the Awana Commander for our church.  He is excited to take on the responsibility and I know he'll do a wonderful job because he performs well in leadership positions and kids are drawn to him.  Tyler has enjoyed Ben being involved in Awana in his 1st year as a Cubbie!

He is also going on a mission trip with 6 members of our church and the SC Awana Director.  The purpose of the trip is to establish 2 Awana clubs in Mexico churches.  They are expected to minister to over 100 children while there.  Please remember Ben in prayers of support through these ministries.

 Bennett spent the night with us last Saturday.  It was both Tyler and Bennett's 1st sleep over.
