Bailey Beth is 2 Weeks Old!

We can hardly believe it, but our baby girl turned 2 weeks old yesterday!!  Bailey Beth is still quite laid back and we are nothing short of thrilled about it.  She has been a wonderful sleeper and I pray every day (and night) that it will continue.  She wakes up twice during the night in about an 8 hour period.  She also goes down to sleep like a dream and doesn't require rocking or walking around to "knock her out" before we put her to bed like we had to do with Tyler.  We just hope all this "good behavior" sticks and Bailey isn't hiding any tricks up her sleeve. 

Bailey is exclusively breastfed and has yet to have a bottle.  As long as I have my way she won't have a bottle until she's at least 3 months old.  Bailey likes to swing and spread out on our ottoman.  She is a side sleeper and also seems to like being on her tummy.  I know everyone says to only put your baby to sleep on their back, but our babies just aren't fans of back sleeping.  We have an angel monitor (which monitors your baby's breathing) so we don't really worry about SIDS.

Bailey's umbilical cord stump still hasn't fallen off so she hasn't gotten to take a real bath yet.  Tyler still loves his baby sister to pieces and asks about her every morning as soon as he wakes up.  He makes sure to let us know if she's crying or sleeping.  Tyler loves it when Bailey has a dirty diaper since he is our official diaper duty assistant.  He still doesn't seem to be jealous, but we've been making sure Tyler gets plenty of our time too.  Bailey is such a joy and we are so thankful for her!
